The CAT-iq trademark is owned by the DECT Forum and registered in 47 countries worldwide. The DECT Forum will use licence fees generated from the CAT-iq Qualification Program to contribute to the protection of the CAT-iq trademark. For the monitoring and
surveillance of the market worldwide and potential litigation in case of detected
trademark infringements the DECT Forum will establish a fund of a sufficient amount
of money from the licence fees of the CAT-iq Qualification Program.
